Universe Ultimate Suite — the product map

plannedForStudentsTeaching staffAdministrationOperator

The platform as thirteen products: Stage, Live, Studio, Avatar, Compass, Exam, Proof, Campus, Recap, Room, Lingua, Guide, Control.

Why#

Customers buy solutions, not switches. The map arranges the existing features into products with names of their own.

How it works#

  1. 1The map has been decided; the scope of the individual products will follow.
  2. 2Every product has an entry of its own with the inventory available today that belongs to it by name, and its dependencies.

Settings and switches#

No switch of its own in the feature catalogue — the feature belongs to its surroundings.

The thirteen products#

  • Universe Stage — Edit and present slides — the stage.
  • Universe Live — Together and in real time — live co-learning, live answers from the avatar.
  • Universe Studio — Build courses — the course workshop.
  • Universe Avatar — Figures and voices.
  • Universe Compass — Orientation about your own competence.
  • Universe Exam — Assessing.
  • Universe Proof — Proving — certificates, badges, verification codes.
  • Universe Campus — Studies and university administration.
  • Universe Recap — Repeat and summarise.
  • Universe Room — Shared rooms.
  • Universe Lingua — Languages.
  • Universe Guide — Guidance and advice.
  • Universe Control — Operations and administration.

Products, modules, switches#

Today the platform sells modules (see “Modules & prices”), and every module sets switches of the feature catalogue. The products of the suite are one level above: names under which modules are to be bundled into solutions. How product and module relate to each other is part of the review.

Under review#
