Why#

Whoever writes while learning remembers more. The notes stay attached to the slide on which they were made and are there again on the next visit.

How it works#

  1. 1In the course, below the learning path, choose one of the tools: sticky note, highlight, snippet or notepad (Fig. 1).

  2. 2Sticky note: click on the slide and write. Highlight: drag across the slide. Snippet: drag out an area and save it.
  3. 3Delete via the bin on the respective element — this also works while a tool is active.

Settings and switches#

No switch of its own in the feature catalogue — the feature belongs to its surroundings.

The four tools in detail#

  • Sticky note — place it on the slide, write, shrink or delete it.
  • Highlight — choose a colour, then drag; several highlights per slide are possible.
  • Snippet — frame an area of the slide; it is saved as an image and lands in the “Snippets” tray, where it can be enlarged.
  • Notepad — notes on the whole course; “Current slide” inserts a reference to the slide, “Clear” empties the pad.
