Podcast in the player
liveForStudents
The course material as a conversation between two voices to listen to — as a detailed podcast or as a short flashcast.
Why#
Learning on the go, during sport, on the train: the podcast sums up the material in audio form.
How it works#
Click pathCourseToolbarPodcast
- 1In the course, open “Podcast” at the top.
- 2Choose the format: “Podcast (2 voices)” or “Flashcast (short)” with one voice; plus length and scope (Fig. 1).
Fig. 1 The podcast window before generating: format (two voices or flashcast), length, own sources and scope. - 3Optionally add your own sources (up to ten PDFs).
- 4“Create podcast” — first the script is written, then the audio; play, pause, change speed, read the transcript (Fig. 2). “To your phone” shows a QR code that opens the episode on the phone (Fig. 3).
Fig. 2 The podcast player in the course: title, speakers “Sophie & Max”, play, speed from 0.75× to 1.5× and the dialogue lines to read along. Fig. 3 The same player with “To your phone” open: the QR code to scan and “Copy link”. - 5Every recording also lands in “My podcasts” and can be published directly in the public feed.

Podcast or flashcast#
- Podcast — two voices discuss the material as in a conversation.
- Flashcast — one voice gets to the point briefly; the voice can be chosen.
Your own PDF sources flow into the script; the scope shows how many slides are covered.
