Course Workshop & Avatars
Curriculum pipeline DACH
Competence expectations of official curricula as curriculum nodes with a source reference: in the workshop the author attaches them to the learning objective of a slide; if a node changes, the check reports every linked content item.
Why#
“Faithful to the curriculum” is only a promise if every learning objective goes back to an official source, has been confirmed by a person and stays up to date.
How it works#
Click pathWorkshopCourseContentSlideChoose curriculum reference
- 1Collection: 2,369 curriculum nodes in 80 cells (Bavaria grammar school grades 5–11, Hesse grammar school grades 5–10, canton of Aargau cantonal school, primary school grade 4 in Bavaria and Hesse) — each with the official wording, a paraphrase of its own and a source reference (document, section/page, address).
- 2Workshop → Content → slide: below the learning objective, “Choose curriculum reference”, search by country, school type, subject, grade and topic and pick the matching node.
- 3The reference is shown with its source, e.g. “Curriculum reference: BY Gym 7 Mathematik – Terme”, together with the node's approval status.
- 4The node identifier and fingerprint are stored. If a node changes, the slide shows “check the content”; the curriculum check reports all affected courses.
Settings and switches#

- The switch is off by default and is turned on per tenant.
- Up to eight curriculum references per slide.
Four stages#
- 1 Official curriculum — the source, with document, version and source reference for each competence expectation.
- 2 Curriculum nodes with prerequisites — each with the official wording, a paraphrase of its own and a reference back to the place in the curriculum.
- 3 Confirmation — a node only counts as “confirmed” once it has been approved.
- 4 Change watch — every node carries a fingerprint; if it changes, linked learning objectives, slides and exam questions are reported as “to be checked”.
The prerequisites between nodes are the same kind of dependency that the competence diagnosis knows between competences.
Collection and origin#
The nodes were captured for the student app and adopted on 22.10.2026 as an unchanged, versioned copy — with an adoption log and a header file recording the source, version, count and the checksum of every file. There is no automatic synchronisation; a new version is adopted deliberately.
The official wording comes from the curricula of the German federal states and the Swiss cantons; the source reference is on every node. The paraphrase in our own words is not an official text.
- Bavaria, grammar school, grades 5–11
- Hesse, grammar school, grades 5–10
- Canton of Aargau, cantonal school
- Primary school grade 4 in Bavaria and Hesse
Tips#
- A reference to a draft is allowed and explicitly marked as such — it is not presented as confirmed.
- The same principle applies in the competence diagnosis: AI may suggest, only what a person has approved takes effect.
