Change log and regulatory watch

liveForOperatorAdministration

“What's new?” publicly — plus a log of which official sources are monitored, when they were last checked and which content was adjusted afterwards.

Why#

Transparency for customers and auditors: what is new, what has become better and what more secure — and the proof that training content is kept in line with the legal situation.

How it works#

Click pathAddress /changelog

  1. 1If the feature is on, “What's new?” is at the address /changelog: entries by type — New, Improved, Fix, Security (Fig. 1).

  2. 2Under /changelog/regulatorik is the regulatory log: active sources, last scan, adjustments of the last 90 days, average time to adjustment — chronologically, with a link to the original source.
  3. 3Under “Regulatory watchdog” (address /admin/watchdog) the operator sees the configured sources with type, frequency, status, last check, last change and the affected slides (Fig. 2).

  4. 4“Run watchdog now” triggers an extraordinary check; the message states how many sources were checked, how many have changed and which could not be reached.

Settings and switches#

  • Switchable per tenantDefault: offModule: Lernplattform (always booked)
  • Default: off, until a tenant switches it on. Part of the module “Learning platform”.

What the watch shows in the administration#

  • Active sources (and how many are inactive)
  • Latest check runs with time
  • Sources without an initial check — newly created, never queried
  • Latest change findings with the number of sources checked
  • The list “Latest scan audits”: manual scan or nightly run, checked, unchanged, with change

Who may do what#

Anyone sees the two public pages as soon as the feature is on. Only the operator sees and starts sources and runs in the administration.

Tips#

  • The sources are generally checked quarterly, export control and sanctions monthly, some areas of law half-yearly; a nightly run only checks what is due.
  • Every run leaves an entry — visible in the administration and in the public regulatory log.
